With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kent C. Hoffman (Rockville, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 26, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Hoffman; his daughters, Jennifer Hahn, Julie Bell and Allison Decker; and his grandchildren, Kylie, Alyssa, Emily, Molly, Riley, Mason and Reagan.

“I first met Kent in 1983 when he interviewed me for the position of an Electronics Technician at a small medical electronics device company in Hunt Valley. We hit it off from the start. Kent was a good person to work for. He respected you, and in turn was respected. We were friends for almost 40-years, and worked together at several companies for over 24-years of that time. Kent was a good supervisor, a great friend, and I will always remember him. My condolences to Nancy, and the family. Bob Ray.”

“I am saddened by the loss of my good friend and former supervisor Kent Hoffman. I met him in 1988, and he helped my career in many ways-giving me the tools and teachers to be successful. He was man with lots of ideas and imagination. We stayed friends after I left Murray in 1994-and he asked me to work for him again in 2005-and I did. I owe so much to him-for taking a chance on me in my early career days. My condolences go out to his wife and family-for we have lost a very special man. Joe C.”
