He is survived by: his spouse Rea Small; his children, Donald Small (Lauren), Fred Small (Diane), Terri Small (Richard Shapiro) and Gail Merriam (William); and his grandchildren, Adam Small (Rachel), Sara Small (Gabe), Ben Small (Beth), Emily Shapiro (Jon), Aaron Shapiro, Noah Merriam and Eliza Merriam. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Remembrance Chapel. A burial was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at the Remembrance Memorial Park (14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871).
