It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of MaryAnn Murphy of Rockville, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Egon Stahmer and Anna Helen Stahmer. She is survived by: her husband Richard C. Murphy; her sons, Kevin Murphy and Bryan Murphy (Alba Murphy); her siblings, Rev. Andrew Stahmer, Carla Topp and Barbara Michalski; and her grandchildren, Richard G. Murphy and Allyson Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (6701 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
