She is survived by: her husband Gene Thirolf; her children, Julie (Jason) of Baltimore, Kate (John) of Ann Arbor and Jack (Catherine) of Rockville; and her grandchildren, Sydney, Emily, Silas, Billie, Jack, R. J., Rosie, Harriet, Frances, Eugene and Gertrude. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
