carol shull wrote a sympathy message

“Nellie has been a great leader and force for good in the United States. She built Preservation Action from the ground up making it a strong national advocate on behalf of historic preservation. Nellie rallied us to do more to support and strengthen preservation. Those of us in the preservation field love, admire, and revere Nellie for all she did to help our country preserve its precious heritage. My heart goes out to Nellie's family. With warm regards, Carol Shull”
