He was predeceased by: his brother Allen; and his parents, Albert Kapust and Arlyne Kapust. He is survived by: his wife Edna Kapust; his children, Samuel Patrick and Adrianna Patricia; and his siblings, Lisa Rivers (Dave), Michael Kapust (Kelly), Peter Kapust (Tammy) and Mary Crim (Timothy). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patrick's name to the Arbor Day Foundation.
