It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Alexander (Rockville, Maryland), who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Alice. He is survived by: his children, Sue Reske (Jim) of Placida, Fla and Steve Alexander (Vicky) of Olney, MD.; and his family, National Parks, West, Bar Harbor, Bermuda, Jamaica and England.
True to his personality, he did not want a big fuss or funeral at his passing but would certainly have been pleased to know it occasioned someone, if so inclined, to donate to the Sierra Club, one of his favorite non profits.
