He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griner and Hazel Griner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Taverner Griner; his children, Amy Gaskin (James), Jennifer Gombos (Greg) and Nicholas Griner (Heather); his grandchildren, Molly Marcarelli (Justin), James Jr., Jacob Gaskin, Madison, Caden Gombos, Carson and Cameron Griner; his sister Juanita Ammerman (Ray); and his half-sister Linda Myers.
