He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Samuel Philipson and Edith Philipson; and his brothers, Morris Philipson and Dave Philipson (Barbara June Philipson). He is survived by: his wife Michele Balistrieri Philipson (Micki); his children, Stacy Grenis (Daniel Grenis), Jay Philipson (Terrie Nixon) and Marc Choper (Lisa McCarthy); his stepchildren, Cara Allen (Ben) and Talia Rizzo; and his grandchildren, James McCrystal (JT), Jack Philipson, Josh Choper, Kie Allen, McKenna Rizzo, Stephen Grenis and Noah Grenis.
