It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert T. Canter (Rockville, Maryland), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Canter and Madeline Milgrom. He is survived by: his wife Lee Canter; his children, Rebecca Canter (Andrea Tacchetti) and Matthew Canter (Jordan); his grandchildren, Eleanor Tacchetti and Jack Canter; his brother Jim Shalleck (Sheila); and his favorite furry felines, Jackson and Izzy.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions made to Casey House of Montgomery County Hospice (https://montgomeryhospice.org) or another meaningful charity in honor of Robert Canter.
