He was predeceased by: his former wife Susan Hayes Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Margaret Ferris, Thomas Cavanaugh (Yardley) and Amy Giblin (Donald); and his brothers, Kenneth (Alberta) and Stephen (Linda). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
