We announce the death of Rose Lee Day (Rockville, Maryland), who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 85. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Rebecca Emory and Robert Lee Kisner; her husbands, George Alfred Robey and Richard Allen Day; and her daughters, Patsy Gibson (Fred) and Charlotte Lease (Donnie).
She is survived by: her children, George Robey (late Connie) of Gaithersburg, MD, Vivian Day (late Frank) of Mount Airy, MD, Oliver Robey (Marie) of Chambersburg, PA, Suzy Ward (late Ronald) of Rockville, MD and Stella Robey of Germantown, MD.; and her siblings, Christine Howes, Sharon Kisner, Randy and Raymond Kisner. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
