Though Willam may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Schenkel and Pat Schenkel; and his siblings, Fred Schenkel and Mary Jo Anderson. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Schenkel (Mary Jane), David Schenkel (Paula) and Debbie Adams (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He oversaw soliciting donations to support the council's annual gift to a young seminarian.
