He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, William (Yusmedy) of Kensington, MD, Sarah Lang (Stephen) of Gaithersburg, MD, Michael (Shana) of Washington, DC, Joseph (Maureen) of Laytonsville, MD and Theresa Dahlman (Andre) of Rockville, MD.; his grandchildren, Stephen (Jayce), Andrea, James, Hannah Opdahl (Ethan), Madison, Alexandra, Thomas, Joseph, Kristin, Ryan, Adrian and Maxine; his great grandchildren, Stevie and Sadie; and his siblings, James (Leslie) of Los Angeles, CA, Thomas of Aurora, IL and Anne King (Arch) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (520 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20852).
