William M. Retorick Sr., born on October 23, 1934 in Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on September 24, 2026. William leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Retorick and Evelyn Ansalish Retorick; his wives, Clara Smith Retorick and Jeanette Burdick Retorick; and his siblings, Frances and Steve.
He is survived by: his children, Samantha Ngyuen (Lam), Barbara Retorick-Anderson (Clyde), William Retorick, Jr. (Kae) and David Retorick (Karen); his stepsons, Theodore Abbey and Rick Abbey; and his sister-in-law Sandy Retorick. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home (310 S Fairfax Blvd, Ranson, WV 25438). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
