With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris J. Flanigan of Rocky Ridge, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on March 11, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph B. Zimmerman and Kathleen Hedges Zimmerman; her husband Arthur A. Flanigan Jr.; her son Gary Neal Flanigan; her brother R. Daniel Zimmerman; and her daughter-in-law Lori Flanigan.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Flanigan (Carol) of Rocky Ridge, Mark Flanigan of Carroll Valley, PA, Brenda Miller (Steve Strait) of Fayetteville, PA and Michele Martin (Dave) of Littlestown, PA; her grandchildren, Sharon Reifsnider, Bob, Jason Flanigan, Holly, Stacey Flanigan, Marcus Flanigan, Brittany Miller, Jeanette Pittenger, Gwen, Jillian and Danica Martin; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Chelsea Reifsnider and Milla Jean Pittenger.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home-Woodsboro (404 S Main St, Frederick, MD 21798).
