He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Murray; his parents, William Franklin Murray and Nina Fredericka Murray (Donaghy); his brother Ricky Monroe; and his children, Wanda Murray and James Franklin Murray, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, John Murray, Trisha Walters and Dianna Roderick; and his brothers, Raymond Murray (Loretta) and Charles Murray (late Carol). He is also survived by many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Thurmont (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
