He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McDonald and Mary Catherine McDonald; his wife Joan; the mothers of children, Barbara and Susan; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his children, Reiley McDonald (Cricket Hooper), Brooke McDonald (Michael Brassert), Page (Andy Crosby) and Leigh McDonald Hall of Ruxton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
