It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou (Sayler) Bittner of Sabillasville, Maryland, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine S. Sayler (Martin) and Paul E. Sayler; her husband Robert "Bob" Bittner, Jr.; her son Bryan K. Bittner; and her siblings, Martin, Hall, Richard Sayler, Doris Stitely (Harry) and Gladys Coats (Richard).
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Bittner (Cammi) and Phil Bittner; her grandchildren, Danielle Amyot (Matt), Rebecca Sherman (Jeremy), Robert Bittner, Lucas Bittner and Samuel Bittner; her great grandchildren, Emmett, Wyatt Amyot and Wesson Sherman; and her siblings-in-law, Richard "Dick" Coats, Lois Long, Linda Bittner and Cindy Bittner. She is also survived by her family and by many, many friends, including her swimming family.
