He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Moore and Herman Baumer Swope; and his siblings, Edward Swope, Carl Swope, Dorthy Shaffer, Ruby Williams, Clara Koontz, Pearl Rummel, Linda Lake and Charles Swope.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Swope (Sines); his children, Matthew Swope (Angela), Sherri Swope, Eddie Swope (Madalena) and Nathan Swope (Lillian); his sister Judy Swope; and his stepsiblings, Darlene Templeton and Frank Moore. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren.
