Dolores left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Baatz and Martha Baatz; and her husband Joseph C. Gardner. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Gardner, Jr. (Donna) of Piney Point, MD, Thomas Gardner (Cathie) of Drayden, MD, Richard Gardner (Kathy) of St. Mary's City, MD and James Gardner of Leonardtown, MD.; and her grandchildren, James, Warren, Tricia, Eric, Holly and Joanna. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
