Garletta Ann Biosca Obituary
Garletta Ann Biosca, of Saint Michaels, MD died unexpectedly on Sunday November 09, 2025. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mack Greathouse and Myrtle Greathouse.
Ann was born in Winchester, VA and grew up with her sister, Connie Zerby, in Berryville, Va where she attended Clarke County High School. During this time, she became an office manager for an insurance company for many years. She is survived by her two children, Pamela Leggett and Scott Leggett; her daughter-in-law Susan Leggett; her grandchildren Ashlee Leggett, Shane Leggett, Brandon Black, Brianna Kronlage and Dylan Pynes.; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
On November 10, 1990 Ann married the love of her life, Louis Biosca. They eventually moved to Saint Michaels, where they had 21 wonderful years together filled with a lot of laughs, traveling, dear friends, Maryland crabs, supporting their community through the VFW Post #5118, all while raising their granddaughter, Ashlee Leggett. Ann and Louis loved to travel abroad and experience new cultures, foods, scuba diving sites, and trying new things together. She was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. When she wasn't traveling, Ann loved to make homemade jellies, jams, and preserves for her family and friends, her annual girl's trip to Las Vegas, cheering on the Washington Redskins, and catering to her cats.
Ann had a way of lighting up the room the moment she walked in. She was able to make lifelong friendships everywhere she went. She was a generous, selfless, and humble woman that many looked up to. Her infectious laugh and bubbly personality will be missed by so many.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home: 200 S. Harrison St., Easton, MD 21601. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home. The burial will be held after at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Easton, MD.
