She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Sheldon Blades, Sr. and Ida Harrison Blades; and her siblings, Sheldon, Harrison, Bob Blades and Florence Blades Layton.
She is survived by: her husband Con Dryden; her daughters, Chris Mosberg (Jamie) and Ann Rubino (Jerry); her grandsons, Jake Mosberg (Alice Scott), Jason Mosberg (Rika Drea) and Josh Mosberg (Meghan); and her great grandchildren, Tess, Ruth, Avery, Edie and Jet Mosberg. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mallard Landing Gathering Room (Pub) (1107 S Schumaker Dr, Salisbury, MD 21804).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Wicomico County Library Children's Book Section or to Salisbury University Alumni Association.
