She was predeceased by : her siblings, Leonard J., Elizabeth Harris Jones, Ornetta Jones Dashiell, Velma L. Jones, Althea V. Handy and Norman L. Jones; and her nephews, Murray R. Dashiell, Earl Handy Jr. and Russell Wise.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Medenia K. Dashiell, Earlene V. Elzey, Sharri L. Handy, Kenneth H. Dashiell (Felicia), Wendell K. Dashiell (Felicia), Nathaniel L. Dashiell (Jill), Dr. Kendell M. Handy (Janice), Benjamin A. Dashiell (Shelia) and Brent Jones. She is also survived by cousins and other extended family and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wesley Temple U. M. Church (1322 West Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
