He is survived by: his children, Geoffrey Gibbs, Jr. (Jasmine), Gene Gibbs (Latiffany), Courtney Frazier and Angela Moore (Joshua); his sisters, Kelly Edwards (Calvin) and Stacy Hicks (Lawrence); and his close friend Lori Carter (Mark Faine). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was also actively involved with the Black Excellence Community Fund and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, reflecting his deep commitment to community service, leadership, and the betterment of others.
