He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles William Davis and Orrie Boggs; his stepfather Littleton; and his brothers, Dean and Billy (Barbara Davis).

He is survived by : his sons, Charles Davis (Lynette Davis) of Palm Coast, FL and Michael Davis of Norfolk; and his grandchildren, Sarah Haynes (Kenneth Haynes) of Greer, SC, Kaiden and Kayla Davis of Palm Coast, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
