He is survived by: his wife Betty Booth Conyers; his children, Christopher Thornwell Conyers III (Kimberly), Anna Conyers Wood (Zach) and Carter Booth Conyers (Annette); his grandchildren, Graham Anthony Wood, Christopher Thornwell Conyers IV, Tyler Wyatte Conyers, Owen Carter Wood, Abbey Jayne Conyers, Chelsea Frances Wood, Marley Anne Conyers and Carter Michael Conyers; his sister-in-law Katherine "Kay" Dorman Conyers; his nephews, James "Jimmy" Reid Conyers, Jr. and Walter "Wally" Dorman Conyers; and his niece Mary Doty Conyers Lyness.
