We announce the death of Dale Dee Dechert Sr. in Salisbury, Maryland, born in Riverton, Wyoming, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 86. Dale will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dechert and Lena Dechert (Schwabb); his wife Betty Hoppes Dechert; and his grandson Todd Barnett. He is survived by: his children, Dale Dechert Jr. (Jo Ann), Lena Dechert, Debra Stone and Bruce Shores (Terri); his grandchildren, David Dechert, Hannah Dechert, Shelby Dechert, Dana Duchaine, Crystal Weiss and Michelle Morgan; and his siblings, Donald Dechert (Rosie), Lloyd Dechert (Annette), Lois Stratton, Tom Dechert, Charles Dechert Jr. (Janelle) and Susan Dechert.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holloway Funeral Home (501 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804).
