He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sterling and Norma Lee Sterling of Fruitland; and his sisters, Norma Lou Birch of Princess Anne and Shelia Justis of Fruitland, Maryland.. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Sterling; his siblings, Kip Sterling (Debra) of Fruitland and Elsa Culp of Bridgeville, Delaware.; and his grandchildren, Dominic, McKinlee, Samantha and Bowen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Allen Memorial Baptist Church (1303 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
