He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wesley Simpson and Kathryn L Simpson (Undy); and his wife Thelma Jane Simpson (Draper). He is survived by: his children, David William Simpson Jr. (Erin) and Lisa Jane Simpson Luckner (Mark); his grandchildren, Chris Simpson (Stephanie), Kristin Jones (David) and Cadence Jane Luckner; his great grandchildren, Jimmy, Connor and Sadie Jane; and his sisters, Donna, Lynn and Mary Beth.
Judge Simpson was a member of the Wicomico County Bar Association, The Maryland State Bar Association, a Fellow of Maryland Bar Foundation, and a member of the American Bar Association.
