She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Collins and Agnes Sturgis Collins; her husband Frederick Douglas Wright; her children, Wayne Lee Collins and Sylvia Portia Briddell Terrance; her stepson Clifton Wright; her sisters, Stella Bryant and Arnetta Derrickson; and her siblings-in-law, Marion and Norma Lee Barkley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tanya T. Smith, Antoinette Briddell and Lavessa Briddell Roach; her brother Gerald Calvin Collins (Candy); and the father of her children Sylvester Briddell (Patricia). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
