He is survived by: his wife Velverline Church; his sister Jane Church Birckhead; his children, Edward Vincent Church, Jr. (Sonia), Gregory Aaron Church, Sr. (Bendetta Blue), Marvin Church (Keisha), Vastina Church Woods and Angel Sommers Church; his grandchildren, Davon Brown (Charmine), Gregory Aaron Church, Jr., Jeremy Church, Jordan Church, Sydney Church and Madison Church; his great grandchildren, Christian Brown, Daya Brown, Courtney Brown, Adonais Brown, Gregory Aaron Church III and Willow Church; his siblings, Harry Church (Marion), George Church, Verdell Church Sands (Retired), Martie Church Dashiell (Donald), Annabelle Church (Seldon) and Carolyn Church Scott (Carroll James, Jr.); and his brother-in-law Robert Birckhead. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
