He is survived by: his parents, Jessie L. Ray (Ruthie) and Jeanette Vance Simmons (Teddy); his wife Erica Y. Vance; his children, Chavez Ward and Chaviana Vance; his stepdaughter Khadijha Jones; his siblings, Jesse Ray (Martha), Daniel Vance, Renee'Micmoux, Shonteria Vance, Kimberly Vance and Lashonda Ray; and his grandchildren, Ezra Vance, Eric Brown and Eva Jones. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home (1618 West Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc. West Road (1618 West Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801).
