She was predeceased by : her mother Shug; her husband Isaac Newton Chase; her son Clifton Odell Dockins; her daughter-in-law Anna Mae Dockins; her siblings, Levin, Nellie, Emma, Addie and Irene; and her grandson Victor Jackson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; cousins; close friends, and many other relatives.
