She was predeceased by: her parents, McGurtha Carr and Louise Mae Roberts Carr; her husbands, Leroy T. Jones and Harry Brown, Jr.; her son Larry Jones; and her siblings, Clarence Carr, William "Billy" Carr, Berley Carr, Catherine Nixon, Katrina Buren, Velma Carr and Lillian Waters.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Jones (Brian), Rochelle Tyler (John), Rodney Carr (Emma), Ronnie Williams (Doretha) and Jeffrey Jones (Jeanette). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
