With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Evans Phillips in Salisbury, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Evans and Edith Evans of Chincoteague, Virginia.; her husband Dudley Phillips; her brother John Evans Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Joyce Conner Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Tom Taylor; her daughter-in-law Tracey Taylor; her grandchildren, Thomas Taylor (Laura), Rachel Taylor (Alex Peck) and Jake Gordy (Grace Bounds); and her friends, Connie Welch, Trish Greene and Nancy Lambert.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holloway Funeral Home (501 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
