He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Wainwright Long, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth "MaryBeth" Long (White); and his sister Virginia "Ginger" Hall. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Michael (Jennifer Flaig), Gretchen, Stacey "Nikki" and Kelly; and his sister Vanessa Jane Long. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for trees to be planted in his memory.
