He was predeceased by: his father Homer Brooks Taylor; and his brothers, Adolfus Taylor and Garry Taylor. He is survived by: his mother Emma Cropper Taylor; his former wife Cherrie Cuffee; his children, Naquisha Chester (Larry) and Marvin Taylor, Jr. (Hannah); his wife Sadie Mae Taylor; his children, Sadra Warrington, Joseph Christopher Warner, Sr. (Patricia) and Lakisha Warner-James (Otis); his siblings, Alvin Taylor (Renay), Lorenzo Taylor (Marian), Beverly Taylor Hardy, Anna Taylor, Cassandra Monroe, Allison Fairell (Dennis) and Patricia Taylor Cornish (Grisbeth); and his close friend Darrell Taylor. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (528 Booth St, Salisbury, MD 21801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery (6827 E New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock, MD 21643).
