With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael J. Tomlin Sr. (Salisbury, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tomlin and Ida Jenkins; his son Michael Tomlin, Jr.; and his sisters, Yvette Jenkins and Alane Primus.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Tomlin; his daughters, Michelle Hutt and Tonya Brown Perry (Derrick); his siblings, Jerry Tomlin (Natalie) and Yvonne Savage; his sisters-in-law, Gladys Justice, Margaret Christopher and Doris Christopher; his grandchildren, Danielle Hutt and Michael Tomlin III; and his aunt Dorothy "Midget" Sterling. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
