She was predeceased by: her parents, Monica Kowalewski and Harry "Duke" Mac Brair; her husband James Saunders; and her brothers, James "Donnie" Saunders, Jr., Brian Saunders (Carlene Kreuger), Frederick Kreuger and Butch Barnes.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shawn Saunders, Lee Ann Saunders, Shawn Saunders Jr., Morgan Brown, Shannon Kelly, Roxanne, Caroline, Jacklyn, Katie and Ashley; and her brother-in-law Kenny Kreuger. She is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eastern Shore Funeral Home (504 Franklin Ave, Berlin, MD 21811).
