He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph R. Sommers, Sr. and Lucy Pearl Parks Sommers; his close friend Harlan Sanford Keith; and his sister Virginia Ann "Ginger" Ward (Walter "Be-Bop"). He is survived by: his siblings, Terry D. Sommers (Theresa) of Pocomoke, Mary Jane Long (Wayne) of Salisbury and Karen Sue Nichols of Millsboro; and his cousin Dollie Ann Harrison (Dan) of Crisfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his pet doggie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Crisfield, MD 21817). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to a local Humane Society or animal charity of your choice.
