He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mortimer Dempster and Alice Bonsall Dempster; his son Richard B. Dempster, Jr.; and his brother Daniel M. Dempster, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Dempster; his children, Kimm Applegate, Jeff Dempster, Mark Dempster (Kim) and Anne Wiseman (Bob); and his nephews, Daniel Dempster and Robert Dempster. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
