He is survived by: his wife Faye White Townsend; his children, Amy Ormerod (Dana), Richard Ray Townsend (Kathy), Michelle Yorgey (Kurt) and Dean Townsend (Coni); and his brother Robert Townsend (Judy). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
