She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Adkins and Sally Adkins; her husband George R. Alexander; her great grandchildren, Tyler Shores and Skyler Shores; and her siblings, Fred Adkins, Leslie Adkins, Lloyd Adkins, Beatrice Layfield, Edna Conaway and Iris Smullen.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Shores (Becky), Gary Shores, George R. Alexander, Jr. (Leny) and Lisa Wilkinson; and her grandchildren, Tracy Horner (Stephen), Lonnie Shores, Angie Siver (Jason), Gary "Wayne" Shores, Jr., Amber Taft (Blake), Robert "Bobby" Figgs (Johanna), Jessica Alexander and James Alexander (Alyssa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
