The family announces the passing of Terry B. Nyquist (Salisbury, Maryland) on August 23, 2026. Terry, born on February 15, 1942, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Terry will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Terry by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Terry is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Terry’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Nyquist and Shirley Nyquist (Blomquist); and his brothers, Stephen and David. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Nyquist and Minda Nyquist; his wife Nancy; and his stepchildren, Malinda, Scott and Shannon. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to the NMU Foundation in honor of Terry Nyquist BS '65, MA '68.
