He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Frank Fitzgerald and Dorothy Baltz Fitzgerald; his wife Amelia Powell Fitzgerald; his sister Kathleen Fitzgerald Hughes (Elmer Hughes); his sister-in-law Carolyn Fitzgerald; and his nephew Patrick Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Amelia Reese (Crispin) and Jeannie White (Tom); his girlfriend Kathy Holloway; his partner's daughter Kaye Kane (Mike); his brother Robert "Bob" Fitzgerald; his grandchildren, Aimee Mayerchin (Lee), Emilee Hollingsworth (Mary), Dexter Brown (Nikki), Kimberly White, Aaron Byrd (Bruce) and Kristin Davenport (CJ); and his nephews, Elmer Hughes and Jeffery Hughes. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinman Funeral Home (11673 Somerset Ave, Princess Anne, MD 21853). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Monie Cemetery.
