He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wainwright and Dollie Wainwright; his daughter Linda Hurley (John); his son-in-law John Hurley; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice (Lester Steele) and J. Samuel White.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Wainwright.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wicomico Memorial Park (721 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to Wicomico Presbyterian Church, where he faithfully served for many decades, or Coastal Hospice Foundation of Salisbury.
