He is survived by: his parents, Guillermo Shinin and Maria Ochoa Shinin; his fiancé Vania Gavilanes; his siblings, John Shinin Ochoa (Cecilia), William Shinin Ochoa (Maria Esther) and Mercy Utter (Christopher); and his nieces and nephews, Christian, Brianna, Sophia, Anna-Paula and John, Jr.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
