With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Delmas P. Wood Jr. of Sandy Spring, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Delmas left this world on July 25, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas P. Wood Sr. and Elizabeth Wood; his brother Charles E. Wood; and his wife Jody. He is survived by: his former wife Joan Wilburn; his children, Delmas "Woodie" Wood III (Linda), Linda Bray (Doug), Ronald Wood (Elaine), Debra Bowers (John) and Blake Wood (Lori); and his grandchildren, Rebekah, Lisa, Mark, Suzanna, Steven, Stephanie, Blair, Brett, Chelsea, Zeke, Lucas, Zoe and Zayn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Layhill Community Church (1900 Bonifant Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
