She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Owen Ferguson and Lucy Cicely Ferguson; her husband Neville Symes; her son Brendan Symes; and her siblings, Norma, Nesta, Sybil and John Ferguson.
She is survived by: her son Dean (Meha); her daughter-in-law Meha (Dean); her sisters, Sheila and Theada; her daughter Lauri; and her grandchildren, Shanee, Dershawn, Kayla, Dante, Ash and Amira. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many relatives, and friends.
